Betsy’s bio

A native of Savannah, Betsy and her husband returned from New York to Atlanta in 1978, living in Vinings before moving to Tuxedo Road in Buckhead in 1986, where they have resided ever since. Her professional background includes International Corporate Finance on Wall Street and Trust and Estate Banking in Atlanta before raising their four sons.

Betsy has been deeply involved in education and community leadership throughout the years. She was a founding board member of Whitefield Academy, serving for eight years, and was very active at Warren T. Jackson Elementary School prior to her involvement with private institutions. She and her husband have also been actively involved with The Westminster Schools, Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and The University of Georgia. They are members of Christ Church of Atlanta and the Piedmont Driving Club, as well as numerous civic and charitable organizations.
